Photographer's statement: "Within my work I have always been interested in exploring the human condition, how we behave and how we interact and understand the world around us. In this series of work I have been exploring the narrative themes of loneliness, alienation and existentialism. The aim of this series of work is to provoke the viewer to form their own narratives for the images presented to them. The way in which each individual person reads and understands the landscape and subject within the image in fact can often be seen as a reflection on our own lives and expectations and how we have come to understand the world around us."
