View of exhibited work. Photographer's statement: "Wonderland is a combination of old and contemporary photographs. They are paired so that you can see how Wonderland and the surrounding area has changed over the past 60 years, from a thriving seaside town full of people enjoying the environment to a place of abandonment and ruin. The contemporary work still has an echo of the past apparent, which is reflected throughout the collected images. From the book you feel a sense of a town stuck in time, still haunted by its glory days of the 1950s but now forgotten by many. The images are of Wonderland from when it first opened to its final hours. While doing this project Wonderland closed down. Now in new ownership it awaits a doubtful future."
