" Cinemagraphs; a moment in time captured and enhanced by the essence of movement. This project explores the concept of water and wind elements within a series of landscape environments. The moving element within each Cinemagraph echoes the way it occurs in nature. Audio has been added to compliment the visual narrative to give the overall experience depth and character. The key to a successful Cinemagraph is the fluidity of movement, composition and timing. The attention of focus is on the moving element as it would be seen in real time surrounded by other activity in the landscape that appears static to counteract. Engage with each Cinemagraph before you take in the surroundings and enjoy the natural movement that has been preserved forever." - Photographer's statement.
