Description:
General view: Text accompanying the show reads: "Following the women most valuable to me and my entire photographic practice. This project is based in two books. One in colour, shot primarily on disposable cameras, emphasizing the "snapshot throw-away" feel this behind the scenes intimacy has. The second black & white photographs, more a visual diary than anything else documenting ideas, but also very easy to handle and almost "throw-away". / The intimate relationship between model and photographer is the key theme within my work, the working relationship with female friends which allows them to be comfortable around me and a more natural image can be recorded. The disposable camera has been my only piece of equipment throughout this project, attempting to combine point and shoot, snapshot aesthetic with concept and cause." Location: in the Gallery in the Furnival Building.
