Description:
Exterior view: View looking onto Tudor Square during the re-design of 2009-2010. The Square was originally constructed as an artwork with designs by Paul and Sue Mason in 1991, when it replaced two streets and a carpark. The artworks were mostly destroyed in the 2010 redesign which was driven by The Crucible Theatre's need to host the World Snooker Championships. Mosaics shapes by Sue Mason which had been strategically laid throughout the Square have been gathered together and laid in a more orderly fashion near the entrance to the Crucible Studio.
