Exterior detail: Art Deco tiles on side of the building: Image of a racing car with text which reads: "PARIS - VIENNE 1902 FARMAN sur PANHARD" First UK headquarters and tyre depot for the Michelin Tyre Company on Fulham Road. ESPINASSE worked for the company. In 1985 Michelin left the building which was bought and restored by Paul Hamlyn (the publisher) and Terence CONRAN. It was restored and re-opened in 1987 as the Bibendum Restaurant & Oyster Bar and with office space for The Conran Shop and Octopus Publishing.
