Description:
|
View of the sculptural fountain surrounding a ramp giving access to an underpass and leading to a pedestrian precinct and the town centre. The shop units surrounding the precinct are visible in the background. Initially illuminated at night and with water spraying iover the various figures - though neither of these features still functions. The winding wheel came from a local salt mine. According to the artist: " .. Reclaimed materials represent traditional industry - Modern materials look towards the future ...".
