Design for a sculpture in Chapel Walk - not realised. Text reads: Chapel Walk, / head tilted up to feel the warmth of the sun. smelling the flowers. spring joy. / 1 metre high. intimate figure and flowers. would like to be able to walk around it. Polished touchstone. Comment: Part of the initial work for the Stone City Project of 1995. Five sculptors carved five stone pieces to be included in the city centre. Each artist made designs for the five different sites. Paula HAUGHNEY was selected to carve a piece to be installed at the end of Chapel Walk facing the Crucible.
