Description: 
Exterior view looking down onto Church Street in 1993 before the tramlines were installed. Flockton & Gibbs transept is visible (centre foreground). Landscaping in front of the cathedral has now been re-designed. Commission: The Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul, Sheffield, was granted cathedral status in 1914 and expanded and restored to designs by Charles NICHOLSON. Following some war damage, this work was begun again with a new architect, Arthur BAILEY.
