Description: 
Exterior view looking down onto Church Street in 1993 before the tramlines were installed. The post-war building, with entrance, by BAILEY is to the right. Commission: The Cathedral Church of St Peter and St Paul, Sheffield, was granted cathedral status in 1914 and expanded and restored to designs by Charles NICHOLSON. Following some war damage, this work was begun again with a new architect, Arthur BAILEY. Opposite is the Cutlers' Hall flanked by the Midland Bank (right) and the Royal Bank of Scotland (left)
