Location: Threadneedle Street, London, EC2. Unveiled on the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo, 18th June, in 1844. Cast from captured, and melted down, cannon from the battle. Sheffield-born Francis CHANTREY died before completing the work which was completed by his assistant, Henry WEEKES.
